Our Humble Beginnings

Our Company

We are primarily a bespoke tailor and custom clothier for people of all genders. Our showroom/studio housing our original designs and workshop is located on Music Row at 1617 17th Ave South. We open for business 10am-6pm Monday through Saturday by appointment only.

Our Story

Eric Adler Clothing was born in the mountains of Southern Spain and bred in the hills of Middle Tennessee: In 2012 while Eric Adler Bornhop was living abroad, he was inspired by the stylish street culture of the Southern Spanish people to create his own line of clothing. After returning home to Nashville, he began working as an apprentice under local legend and master tailor Manuel Cuevas. Manuel taught Eric the dying art of tailoring and allowed him to explore his tastes in fashion design. During his time at Manuel, he began developing his own clothing line on nights and weekends. Eric Adler Clothing made its debut in 2014 at Nashville Fashion Week as one of 10 Emerging Designers. Since then he has been awarded the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund Award and moved on from Manuel Couture to his own studio where he has been designing and tailoring for Alan Jackson, Big Kenny, Shania Twain, Mayor Megan Berry, The Brothers Osborne, Post Malone and more.

Our Mission

At ERIC ADLER we strive to transform the negative stereotype that Americans are poorly dressed. EA envisions a time when the United States of America is considered the best-dressed nation in the world. Besides his #BestDressedUS campaign, Eric Adler yearns to see the return of well-tailored and tailor-made products. We believe that the core values of diligent and quality work that are intrinsic to so many of the different American cultures can render our creative and industrial capabilities number one.

He loves to chase his ball in the park, go on long hikes in the hills of Tennessee, and snuggle up close after a long day of work.
